With the table side QR codes your can now scan the QR code in your phone and view the menu. Once the customer selects their menu items and submit the order it will automatically sync to the SkyTab POS sytem. When the customer is ready to pay they simply scan the QR code and view their bill and pay via credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Once check is paid the ticket will automatically close on the POS system.
Cash Discount & Dual Pricing
A Cash Discount program is a way to offset all of your processor fees using a method that is automated by the SkyTab POS, and compatible with guidelines from Visa, Mastercard, and processing regulations. By adding a small fee to all sales Items and providing discounts for those that choose to pay with cash, you can keep more of your sales revenue without raising prices.
A Dual Pricing program is another way to eliminate you processing fees by offering two prices on the POS and Menu. There will be a cash and card price listed. Incentivizing the customer to pay cash. If they choose to pay by card they will cover the fees associated. This practice has been round for years. You most commonly used to see this at gas stations.
These programs pass the cost of acceptance, in most cases 4%, back to customers who choose to pay with a credit or debit card. Customers who choose to pay with a card will pay the marked amount because the processing cost is built into the cost of the item. This allows the business owner to recoup the full amount of the transaction and not incur any credit card processing fees.
